Pivotal ACS Workshop Sets Path for 2025–2035 Strategic Vision for the Greater Caribbean
Port of Spain, May 2, 2025 – The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) has successfully concluded a pivotal High-Level Event Strategic & Scenario Planning Workshop, held from April 28th to May 2nd in Port of Spain. This significant gathering marks a critical milestone in the ACS's ongoing efforts to forge a strategic vision poised to address the evolving needs of the Greater Caribbean.
Over the past four days, the workshop has brought together experts, member states, and ACS staff in a collaborative environment designed to define strategic priorities and innovative approaches for the decade ahead. This initiative forms the bedrock for crafting the ACS Strategic Vision for 2025–2035, aimed at positioning the Greater Caribbean as a nexus of peace, sustainable development, and regional collaboration.
As the ACS moves forward, the outcomes of this workshop will inform the construction of a robust Strategic Plan that contributes to strengthening the region's capacity to respond effectively to future challenges and opportunities.
