ACS celebrates the 15th Extraordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Council

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – November 7, 2024 – 17 ACS Member States elected by acclamation the new Secretary General of the ACS. H.E. Ambassador Noemí Espinoza from Honduras during the 15th Extraordinary Meeting of the ACS Ministerial Council held virtually on November 7, 2024.
Ambassador Espinoza has nearly 30 years of experience in political affairs, and regional and global cooperation, working with high-level government executives and leaders from various sectors.
Throughout her distinguished diplomatic career, she has been a pioneer in intergovernmental negotiations, both as an ambassador and as an advisor to the United Nations, among other notable achievements.
The Council also provided guidance on moving forward the process of the development of a Draft ACS Strategic Plan for the decade 2025-2035, expected to be key input to the 10th ACS Summit of ACS Heads of State and Government to be hosted by Chair of the ACS Ministerial Council, Colombia, in May 2025.
