ACS Secretary-General Noemi Espinoza Madrid Will attend the Brazil-Caribbean Summit
Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – June 6, 2025 — The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) announces that its Secretary-General, H.E. Noemi Espinoza Madrid, will participate in the upcoming Brazil-Caribbean Summit of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), scheduled to take place on 13 June 2025 in Brasília, Brazil.
During this mission, Secretary-General Espinoza Madrid will attend the conference “The Present and the Future of Brazil–Caribbean Relations” at the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA) at 2 pm on 12 June 2025 and will participate in the closing ceremony of the CDB Annual Meeting, which will occur within the framework of the summit. On June 13, the Secretary-General will deliver a speech at the Brazil-Caribbean Summit.
This participation signifies the ACS’s ongoing commitment to fostering regional cooperation and highlighting the Caribbean’s strategic importance on the global stage. The presence of Secretary-General Espinoza Madrid will demonstrate the shared dedication of Caribbean and Latin American nations to advancing regional development and collaboration.
