ACS and the United Arab Emirates prepare for COP28

ACS, represented by His Excellency, Secretary General Rodolfo Sabonge and Directors Ana Leticia Ramirez and Rita Mishaan, and Consultant for the Office of Political Advisor Tricia Barrow, met with the UAE, to discuss cooperation actions, in particular on Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MH-EWS). One of the main topics discussed at the meeting was the issue of reaching "last mile communities" with early warning/early action systems and geo-spatial information systems. Due to the importance of this issue for both sides, a fruitful dialogue took place in which concrete actions and projects with great potential to address this issue were explored. The UAE was represented by Director of the Assistant Minister of Cultural Affairs Office, Saeed Al Saeed, Head of the Cultural and Public Diplomacy, Dr. Hana Al Kaabi, Cultural Affairs Specialist, Shatha Al Ghardaqa, Anaoly Blanco, Florencia Caro, Helena de Jong and Mohammed Al Sheraifi.
