SG Sabonge Meets with Venezuela

Venezuelan Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago Carlos Pérez received ACS Secretary General with Rodolfo Sabonge at the embassy and congratulated him on taking office at the ACS.

They discussed continued strengthening of the Association through digital transformation, cooperation and climate change action. Ambassador Pérez committed Venezuela’s continued support and participation in the work of the ACS.

SG Sabonge and Ambassador Pérez also touched on the need for the ACS to be the convergence spot, where all countries, territories, languages and cultures of the region can meet and work together.

Venezuela was last Chair of the Ministerial Council from 2018-2019.
