ACS TVET Workshop in Honduras

The Association of Caribbean States (ACS), through the Directorate of Sustainable Tourism (DST) developed the 2nd Workshop for the Implementation of the Regional Framework for Technical Vocational Education and training in tourism (TVET) in the greater Caribbean. Six Members and Associate Member States of the ACS attended this workshop held in the Republic of Honduras on 21st September, 2017. Among the presenters in this workshop were: the Adviser of Sustainable Tourism of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), Ms. Tanya Amaya and the Deputy Director of Planning and Product Development, Honduran Tourism Institute (IHT, for its acronym in Spanish), Mr. Juan Antonio Meza, who discussed topics such as: the TVET case study - Republic of Honduras, the advances in the dissemination and the implementation of the regional framework for TVET in tourism in the ACS Member States and Associate Member States, the report on advances and lessons learnt in the implementation of the Regional Framework for TVET.
