Secretary General of the ACS sends get well message to the President of Venezuela

Port of Spain, (January 08, 2013) – Secretary General Alfonso Múnera, on behalf of the Secretariat of the Association of Caribbean States sent a ‘Get Well’ message to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency Hugo Chavez.

 

On hearing of the current state of the President’s health, the ACS joins the people of Venezuela and well-wishers worldwide in praying for his recovery and imminent return to office. The ACS recognizes President Chavez as an important voice on issues of regional integration and development to which it remains committed.

 

The Secretariat of the ACS reiterates its sentiments of good health and prosperity to the President and the people of Venezuela for this new year and takes this opportunity to renew its assurances of the highest consideration to all Member States and Affiliates.
