CLRAH coordina 14 toneladas de ayuda para Haití

The Regional Logistical Centre for Humanitarian Assistance (CLRAH) has responded to the destruction caused by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti last week by sending 14 tonnes of aid items. The relief items sent on August 17 include: dried food, clothes, medicine, water and tents. Based in Panama, the CLRAH coordinated the movement of the supplies through the assistance of the armed forces of Chile.

The Minister of External Relations of Panama Erika Mouynes has been in communication with the countries of the region which are part of the Organisation of American States (OAS) and the Central American Integration System (SICA) to highlight the CLRAH and Panama’s central facility and coordination positioning for sending relief. The ACS and CLRAH signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together in 2019.
