The republic of El Salvador lies on the Pacific Coast of the Central America and is bordered by Guatemala and Honduras. The Capital is San Salvador and coffee accounts for over one third of the export of goods in value. The agriculture forestry and fishing sector employs approximately 28 percent of the workforce and contributes 11,5 percent of GDP. Industry employs 26 percent of the workforce and contributes 28 percent of GDP, while the services sector employs 46 percent of the workforce and contributes 60,5 percent of the GDP.
